Mandatory evacuation orders remain in place Saturday for several Louisiana communities as efforts to battle the Tiger Island fire in Beauregard Parish continue. As of Saturday, the Forestry Department reported that containment remains at approximately 50%, but is improving. Twelve residential structures have been lost to the fire, but there have been no reported injuries or loss of life, according to the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office. More than 30,000 acres have burned since local fire departments, volunteers and the National Guard started battling the fire, which started Tuesday morning.

Bargain Hunt has been pulled from its usual slot on BBC One this week as part of the channel's latest scheduling shake-up.  The popular daytime show usually airs at 12.15 pm every weekday but has been taken off air to make way for the BBC's coverage of Wimbledon, as well as the general election results on Friday.  In response to a viewer questioning why the show wasn't airing on Monday, the programme's official X page clarified that only one new episode will air on Thursday this week.
